Fun upbeat show
Not sure why "Chris U" gave such a poor review. Not the best show ever, but deffinately great! With a Terrapin of that caliber, it is not right to say
...
that the "Peak" was during Sugaree. Tight show from beginning to end. You can tell that the boys were having fun that night!

Begining of the End
The "peak" beginning at 7:15 or thereabouts in the Sugaree is actually the trough. Not good.

great show, hard to review
I just keep thinking MAN I wish I could go back in time and be there! But Im happy enough to be in this time and listen to this with some good headphones
...
(NOT earbuds!). The sound mix betwixt soundboard and audio is just great - the audience was a big part of the show, and that comes through well here without blocking any key essesntials

Thirty 30-40 somethings felt like they were 21 again !!!!!!!
This recording blows me away. When you listen to it, it is hard to believe it is over 28 years old. Although my first attended shows were during the

Spring 87 tour, I always liked the early 80s sound. I guess this has something to do with listening to DEAD SET over a million times. The engineers responsible for this recording should take a bow.... As for the actual show.... absolutely stellar... Everyone is hitting it perfect. Just a pleasure to listen to. If you close your eyes you would swear you were there. Longest and most spacey Sugaree I've ever heard. Great harmonys on LOSER. Let me tell you a little story about this CD. I was nominated to host a surprise birthday party for a good friend last week... It fell on the Friday after Thanksgiving 08. About 30 people attended. My basement is set up for great parties, something left over from my late 20s. The pool table is now gone, leaving a space just begging to substitute as a dance floor. Well lets just say that sometime into the party, well after 4 bottles of wine had been polished off, a keg more than halfway gone and plenty of roaches in the ashtray, this disc was put in the stereo. Something happened that I haven't seen for well over 15 years.... People statred dancing and I mean dancing hard... It was just one of those types of evenings. Thirty people in the middle of my basement haveing a good time, reliving something that they had'nt experience in some time. I owe it all to this recording and how well it sounds. When the last note was played at about 12:30 am everyone applauded... Thank you, for a real good time!!! Download this now is all I have to say. 5 stars for recording. 5 stars for setlists. 5 stars for music played.
